Viera Diagnostic Center was established by friends and business partners Dr. Allen Powell and Francis Olomu, back in 2002. Behind them are more than 60 years of experience when it comes to diagnostic imaging services. The center was established in response for the need of an advanced imaging service in Brevard County.

Viera Diagnostic Center has two conveniently located Space Coast facilities.

Direct Digital MRI

Magnetic Resonance Imaging is used to acquire visual data of the human body including internal organs for diagnosis.
CAT SCAN 128 SLICE SCAN

128 Slice Cat Scan

Imaging equipment which uses x-rays and computers to create images which will permit doctors to view a patient’s body.

Direct Digital Mammography

A digital mammogram is a special x-ray of the breast. It is used to find possible cancers and display results on a screen.

Diagnostic Ultrasound /Ultrasound 4D

A procedure which applies high-frequency sound waves in order to display specific internal body parts.

Direct Digital X-Rays

Direct Digital X-ray
X-ray is where radiology originated from and is the most common form. X-rays can either be immobile or moving pictures, and can be obtained fast.

Bone Density or DEXA

Used in measuring bone mineral content of specific bodily areas. Our fan beam technology even examines the spine and both hips.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your images can be made available to you to take after your exam upon request.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call Viera Diagnostic Center and your physician will be notified and your examination rescheduled, at 321-254-7880.

Non-urgent reports are sent to your referring physician within 24 hours. Preliminary results for urgent/stat cases with be reported to your physician typically within an hour. You are welcome to a copy of your report, however, we recommend you follow up with you doctor for the interpretation of the report and what the results mean to your healthcare.
